When to request a same-day visit
Same-day appointments may be helpful for new symptoms, worsening chronic concerns, blood pressure questions, medication side effects, minor infections, urgent lab review, or follow-up after an ER or urgent care visit.
Illness and minor concerns
Cough, sore throat, urinary symptoms, sinus symptoms, rashes, mild asthma flares, stomach concerns, and other non-emergency issues may be reviewed.
Labs, medications, and referrals
Patients can request help with abnormal lab results, medication refills, side effects, care coordination, and next-step planning.
Emergency symptoms
Chest pain, severe shortness of breath, stroke symptoms, severe allergic reaction, heavy bleeding, or sudden severe pain should be treated as emergencies.
